The Sebring Historical Society will be holding its yearly general membership
meeting at the Strand Theatre Pottery and Local History Museum on 15th Street in
Sebring. The evening will consist of the business meeting, to bring all members up to
date on the society's projects and events, followed by an ice cream social and a
casual discussion about Sebring area potteries. Guests are encouraged to bring their
favorite pottery piece and any personal stories about the potteries to share with the
group. Admission is free for members and $2.00 for non-members.

The Strand Theatre Pottery and Local History Museum, located in the old Strand
Theatre building on 15th Street in Sebring will be open for limited fall and winter
hours and for tours. Admission is $2.00 for adults and children.

Private Tours can be booked by calling the museum at 938-6920 or volunteer
museum director, Dery Zeppernick at 938-2387. No tour is too small. Bring your
family and friends and enjoy the displays about the Sebring area's fascinating pottery
history and celebrated citizens such as Viktor Schreckengost, winner of the National
Medal of Art.
